This flowering plant is known widely in South Asia for its strong and equally pleasant fragrance that its flowers emit. My dad refers to it as moti which may be what it is known colloquially in the Indian sub-continent. This particular plant definitely belongs to the Jasminium genus, as for the species I can only guess but I would say that this variety is either Jasminium officinale, or Jasminium sambac.
